Another Friday and another new movie article. Today I bring you the sequel to Batman Begins.

Batman Begins is the retelling of the original Batman story. The first Batman film (of the new age…) released was exactly called… (surprise) Batman by Tim Burton in 1989. The first movies were a success in that time, they were characterized by a dark ambience/mood, that at the same time was very Batman theme suited and also related to Tim Burton’s style. If they first two films by Tim Burton were good, lets say that the sequels by Joel Schumacher should have never left the story board.

So now we have another Batman movie, The Dark Knight. The Dark Knight is, like I told before, the sequel to first movie of the new Batman Age (or if you wish the re-re-telling of the story). Like all Batman movies there is a main villain, here Batman faces Joker ( Deja Vu? ). Just like in the Tim Burton’s movie (Batman Returns) the Joker is a disturbed character (interpreted by Heath Ledger [RIP] ). … And the rest just see the trailer because obviously I haven’t seen the film yet.

The Release date is scheduled to 18 July 2008 in the United States and 24 July here in Portugal.
