Paintbits: July Stats

Paintbits

I’m really happy to say that my blog has become a little success… at least for me. To be honest I wasn’t expecting so much visits in such a small time. I know some of this success came from pure luck. Being featured on delicious and StumbleUpon sure helped a lot but even beside that Paintbits is starting to build a small but loyal readers base.

I’ve started to write content in May this year and since then daily visits have started to increase continuously at a steady pace. RSS Readers ascend now to the 300 hundred and counting! To be honest I really don’t mind if there was only me and someone else reading this blog but it’s good to know that someone likes what we write and share the same interests.

I know I’m not much of a writer, I chose to write in English so I could reach more people and at the same time to improve my language skills. Of course there is a drawback with this choice, I can’t express so well writing in English as I would when writing in my mother language, Portuguese. Anyway I think I’ve made the write choice. Writing in English is not diminishing the importance of my country or my language but it’s facing the fact that English is the most widespread language in all countries of the World, it’s the language Science speaks… so writing in the WORLD WIDE WEB it makes all sense to me to choose English for that matter.

@Caminagetcha - Hi! I get your point, you want more stuff to modify your desktop. Well, the article I wrote explains a way to do it. After that I’ve been gathering wallpapers each week and stuff. We can’t satisfy all the people right? :)
Anyway this period is bad, lack of time to write big articles, but I will write some more stuff about customization in the future.

Obrigadão aos outros pelos comentários. :)
