Million Dollar PC

During one of my normal browsing sessions, my friend odracir linked me a website about modded computer systems. This is usually not something I look upon, since it usually means flashy, uninspired, overdone, ugly (or more commonly referred as fugly), “insert adjective here”, etc… outputs. Basicly, computer modding together with car modding are synonymous of bad taste.

This is why I was quite surprised by the professional look and slickness of most of the computers showedcase on Million Dollar PC website.

From the ones I saw, Murderbox was one of my favorites. Very robust output, slick design, solid colors, nothing overdone (in my opinion), basically what a computer system should be like (as everything else in life to be honest).

But there are less conventional designs on Million Dollar PC, like he Edelweiss one.

And by the way, when I was talking about bad taste and overly done… this is a bit of what I was referring to:

Bill Gates bans iPhone…

… from his own home. Just saw this news and while I understand why the decision it’s still stupid and sends a wrong message outside, specially when it was his wife that came public with it.

Microsoft founder head Bill Gates has banned the use of products made by arch-rival Apple from his house, his wife has revealed.

But the blockade could backfire on Gates, 53, after Melinda admitted there are times she feels envious of her friends’ iPhones.

She told Vogue magazine that the couple’s three children Jennifer, 13, Rory, 10 and Phoebe, seven, are not allowed Apple products.

Hmm…
