Why do I find that case mods are intersting and great? The Creativity and pure skill these people utilize to achieve these mods is just so freaking stunning. Yes sure, I don't like the christmastree look-a-like cases much either, but the cases are often more than just the lights and colors. Reading the logs you can see that.

The world of hand-crafting is dying due to automatical systems and big production lines. If computer cases is where some of that ability is kept alive, then hell, mod more!

I like the first case design and neatness a lot, there's been great effort put into the cable routing and planning of small details.

Then there's stuff like Orac3 which...is anything but minimalistic, but it is done so for a purpose of portraying something other than just the usual lights in a case with a window.

I used to follow mods a lot actually, but haven't for a while now anymore. Most of the newer ones seem to lack the finesse and creativity.

I just have to mention this one more, as I find it among the most interesting ones.

ps. odd thing I just posted above, and now the reply says "error: please fill the required fields (name, email)." while it still shows it correctly above the field. Sigh.

When talking about great case mods, these come to mind, in no particular order of excellence (some of them just great as an idea):
