@Redshryke: Yep, that is a problem on Vista, AveDesk Labels don’t work well on it. I’ve had the same problem, gave me a lot of headaches. :S

Thanks a lot, man. I’ve found out about a lot of neat things from this guide. I only wish AveDesk’s sublabel formats worked properly with Vista. Can’t get the number of files/size with it :(

Awesome overall view of desktop modding! A long time Style XP user myself, though not for a while anymore it's nice to see that there are so many other alternatives. hey, this article rocks! I have one problem though, when i download the patched uxtheme and paste it into system32, no pop ups come up and nothing is changed. I tried loading skins and rebooting my computer but its still the same.
