November’s Desktop

November's Desktop

Haven’t changed my UI much on the last months. Windows 7 looks good as it is. Anyway I decided to change the default theme just for the sake of variety, that and because I always loved Clearscreen theme on Vista.

Windows 7 functionality totality eliminates the need of dock for me. When I used Windows XP and Vista, I really felt the necessity to have a way to quickly launch applications or access frequently visited folders quickly. Well, Apple’s Dock is great to achieve this. There are lot’s of dock clones for Windows that work quite well, but the new W7 Superbar is good enough for you to forget your dock. The taskbar works now like a mix between a dock and the old windows taskbar and on top of that you get jumplists, which are an amazing addition to the taskbar functionality.

Again, not much info on what I used here, since most of it It’s just Windows 7 default appearance.

    Wish you would show more of the theme than just the background and bar – just doesn’t show much =]

    Having started the long road of learning w7, so far I have to say it’s been interesting – after drilling the XP way for years it takes a bit of effort to find things -, though I’m sure there’s yet a lot of features I haven’t touched upon, like the jumplists you mentioned.

    Bye =]

    Hey guy
    What’d you do to go about getting that visual style?
    I’ve found a couple okay themes, but yours looks great!
