Team Fortress 2: Meet the Spy
Valve is very well known among gamers and non-gamers for their fine humor within and outside their games (who never heard the famous sentene: “The Cake is a lie!” ?). They are one of the company’s that puts the detail back into the game and we all love the lovely pop references and charades on games, don’t we? Well I do, that’s why along with Blizzard, Valve is for sure one of my favorite game publishers.
Among the games I’ve played from Valve, Team Fortress 2 is the one I play the mostly currently. It’s a Shoot’em Up sequel for the famous Half Life mod… Team Fortress Classic. Team Fortress 2 still shares the principals of his younger brother, but now it deserved a release on it’s own and far more important… a lot of attention from Valve. One of it’s more remarkable features it’s the graphics, they are very cartoonish style giving a “humorous” feel to the game. The game itself is very strategic because each class represents a niche on their team. If you like online gaming, if you like shoot’em ups and to see your opponent being shot by a rocket an tear apart into 1 million pieces, this is the game for you. Will surely provide you with a lot of laughs.
Anyway I’m not writing this post to tell you about the game, but I think an introduction was necessary so the ones not into the “Valve Scene” could understood a bit better what’s to come. Basically I started this post to show you the most recent “Meet the …” series of videos released by Valve. From times to times Valve have been releasing some very funny videos showcasing the classes in Team Fortress. Several have been released but so far I haven’t posted any, not because they are not good… but this last one is just freaking awesome!
I hope that after seeing this one you go and check the other videos here. They are really funny and worth the time. Trust me on this.
Anyway, this week Valve is announcing the release of a new content patch for the classes of Sniper and Spy and it’s the Spy that makes the honor of the new video, so… Meet the Spy!
