Opera 10 Released
Opera 10 has just been released. I like Opera, it’s a solid browser that have been around for quite a lot, has experienced developers and comes packed with a lot of nice features (tabbed browsing, mouse gestures, mail integration, notes, widgets…). I think that in some way, it fills the spot of the old Mozilla Browser (Netscape Navigator). Opera 10 brings some really nice features, packed with a slick new interface.

New Features
Opera Turbo
Opera Turbo uses compression technology that provides significant improvements in browsing speeds over limited-bandwidth connections, for example, when using a crowded Wi-Fi in a cafe or browsing through your mobile phone while commuting.
New visual tabs
Opera has always been the pioneer for how to deal with tabs in your browser. In Opera 10, we introduce a resizable tab bar. Drag the handle underneath the tabs to reveal thumbnails of your open Web pages. And, because great features should come in beautiful packages, designer Jon Hicks has created a whole new look for Opera 10.
Web integration
If you use a Web mail service as your default mail client, you can tell Opera 10 to do the same. Clicking on e-mail addresses or “Send by Mail” in Opera will open the compose page from your Web mail service provider. The same is true with the Feed reader — you can now also add any RSS/atom feed into your favorite online feed reader from within Opera 10.

Here, I’m still a fan of Firefox and occasionally Google Chrome but I usually install Opera (specially to test web pages on it). Speaking of testing webpages, I wonder why the Small Bits section on my sidebar doesn’t display on Opera but works on all other browsers, can’t figure that out… Wouldn’t it be a better World if all the people in this planet used Firefox?
Speaking of Opera…
Did you know that Opera supports Face Gestures? It’s a nice features, but try to see the movie without laughing… ^^
