First Google Chrome Screenshots

Google Chrome

Google Chrome Website was Online for a brief moments, just the necessary time for someone to save some of the Images and videos found there. If you didn’t read the news, Google published on their Official Blog the release of a new Project, a Web Browser called Chrome.

Techcrunch brought the first Chrome screen captures.

John Resig talks about a new interesting feature of Chrome, the Process Manager:

Google also say they’re using a “multi-process design” which they say means “a bit more memory up front” but over time also “less memory bloat.” When web pages or plug-ins do use a lot of memory, you can spot them in Chrome’s task manager, “placing blame where blame belongs.”

EDIT

Google Chrome is now Live on the Official Website.

    Downloaded the beta yesterday.
    Some functions seems like Firefox (that’s good)
    I’m still testing it.

    @nana777ing – It’s a good browser for a Beta. It’s really fast. I like that.

    But I do use a lot of Firefox Addons, so I will stick with Firefox! But it’s better for me then iE7.

    I found this disturbing and can only hope this gets updated soon.

    I am still going to install it and try it out but just like greven i too use a lot FF addons so im sure i will not be switching over any time soon.

    I agree, it’s better than IE7 in many ways.

    All my sites look okay in Chrome…..Phew that is a big relief.

    Chrome makes use of ‘Webkit’ as its rendering engine which is the same as that used by Safari so it should look ok anyway….

    @ram – It uses Webkit, yep Ram. Uses some code from Firefox too, but the rendering engine is Webkit. :)
