BTW, I would like to set an excerpt lenght, but cannot figure it out…
I’ve tryed various things but I’m not php king, so, unable to make things like that to work with your stuff:

add_filter(‘excerpt_length’, ‘my_excerpt_length’);
function my_excerpt_length($length) {
return 20; }

Please can you help?

Hi, I’ve implemented this on my site and it’s working wonderfully! I’m currently playing around with it to tweak it to do what I want. I’m having trouble excluding my own comments from the list – I don’t really want them to appear. Is there a simple way to do this? I’ve tried mucking around with the user_id, but can’t seem to find a way to extract it to perform a condition on it.

Recently I have seen this comments column on many blogs and just was wondering how it was possible, I actually thought that this was a module and will be possible only with that module. Thanks for this excellent tip and I can do it myself now.

Thanks – looks very promising, as I’m looking for the following: within a post I want a list of posts for this week. We write a weekly summary and want to display posts added this week. Also, for comments: which posts got comments during this week.
Would that be possible? I have some ideas to expand on that, so please let me know.
